20 accompished artists are holding their 12th ANNUAL Fabulous firsts, seconds and steals sale. After a year sabbatical, we’re back!
Here at 4th Quarter Farm
1335 S. Woodbine Rd.,
West Linn, 97068
The purpose of 4th Quarter Farm here in West Linn, Oregon is to grow and deliver fresh, local, old-fashioned flowers to seniors in assisted living, caregivers and those who are homebound.
Over 30 varieties of flowers are grown with environmental conscience and are arranged and delivered to people who are most in need of thoughtfulness in the form of colorful flowers to brighten their day.
Coming next summer! In addition to the amish egg cart at the end of the driveway, We will be installing a flower stand on the shady side with buckets of flowers and a money box. Fresh eggs and fresh flowers and barking hounds to greet you. How local is that?!
For now, please see the FARM OFFERINGS section above for a list of our offerings.
We will have a need for pickers, arrangers and delivery persons. Mostly delivery persons. We really hope that the flowers can be given hand to hand, person to person. A smile. A short interaction. An exchange of caring.
PROFESSIONALS AND ORGANIZATIONS
We will provide flowers for all your needs, whether it’s small individual bouquets for residents, DIY buckets for resident activities, custom thank you or sympathy arrangements, or special event flowers.
We also can be the location for your meeting or event, see the SENIOR FLOWER CARE section above.
Growing smiles one flower at a time
“Recently I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing woman with a huge and generous heart. Her Name is Ann Munson and she owns and operates 4th Quarter Farm right here in West Linn. Tucked away in the hills of West Linn, Ann, along with volunteers, grows flowers on her 14 acres to give away to seniors. Here’s what Ann had to say. ‘Last year I broke my leg and my husband of 46 years , Lynn, died of Alzheimers. It left a big hole to fill. I needed something challenging, beautiful and fulfilling. All my life I’ve been drawn to flowers and gardening. And after experiencing the needs of seniors in assisted living, I felt I must respond. The goal is to sell my flowers to cover costs. Then the majority will be picked, arranged and delivered to people in assisted living, stressed care givers and shut ins, people who need and deserve a special bouquet surprise.’ Thank you for being you Ann!”
If you have a special event
and would like to arrange your own flowers,
We will have availability lists
and can provide buckets of fresh cuts.
Membership in 4th Quarter Farm: We will be offering memberships in this flower giving endeavor. You will be able to subscribe for bouquets of my flowers. We will figure out quantities and intervals for pick up. Your membership will help to underwrite the flowers that are produced to give away. — STAY TUNED! —
We are currently harvesting the flowers ourself but need helpers to arrange the flowers into small jars. More importantly We need delivery persons. The goal is for the flowers to be given hand to hand, person to person with a smile and a short interaction. It’s an exchange of caring.
